CONSENT CULTURE ROUNDTABLE

Sunday, September 24th @ 4:00pm

Are you interested in helping make the Jams a safer and more inclusive space for all? We believe that a culture of consent and anti-discrimination plays a vital part of creating a community that is safe and inclusive for all performers and volunteers, and we need your input and perspective in order to cultivate that space. We invite everyone in the community to a roundtable discussion where everyone can share their thoughts about how to raise awareness of consent and anti-discrimination, encourage a more safe and inclusive community, and begin to develop an official procedure for reporting and resolving incidents.

Please join us September 24th at 4:00 pm to share your thoughts about how the jams can improve as a space that welcomes and protects all members of the community. Sign up below if you're interested in attending.

The event will be hosted at a private venue in northeast Humboldt Park and the address will be emailed to those who sign up 3 days prior to the event.

LAST RESERVE JAM FIRE SAFETY TRAINING OF 2023

The last fire training of the season will also be held on Sunday, September 24th at 6:00pm. If you would like to participate in the Halloween Parades or future Jams, renew your Approved Performer status through 2025 or take the Level 2 Safety Training, sign up here!

JAM GUARDIAN TRAINING

Sunday, September 24th @ 8:00pm

We will be hosting a Jam Guardian Training at a private venue in northeast Humboldt Park, this Sunday, September 24th at 8:00pm!

The Full Moon Jams have become very large over the past few years and we are always looking for more dedicated volunteers. Jam Guardians are extremely important to the Jams as they are the eyes, ears, and helping hands of the organizers. Guardian training covers how the Full Moon Jams are organized, various bystander intervention techniques, how to use a radio, and much, much more. It's a great way to provide meaningful support to the Jams and a fantastic way to make new friends!

If you or anyone you know are interested in learning how to help out more at the Full Moon Jams, please sign up! We are always looking for more folks to take this training, not just in hopes of finding more volunteers for the jams, but so that more people are empowered to help others and be a voice of calm reason wherever they go.
