If you are an experienced fire performer, we invite you to participate in the Full Moon Jam by attending our mandatory Fire Safety Training class held prior to every Jam at 6:00pm. Only performers that have attended a class within the last 2 years are permitted within the Great Circle and Fueling Area.

To join the drum circle, simply bring your drum or other instrument and look for the drum circle on the north side of the Great Circle. There is no sound systems or electricity available, so please bring acoustic instruments only.

Fire performers do not have individual coverage under our group policy. We carry insurance to protect our group in the event that any fire performer's negligence creates an accident causing bodily injury to another person or damage to someone else’s property.  We do not require, but strongly encourage all fire performers purchase their own individual fire performance insurance as a means of personal financial protection. You would incur significant financial hardship if you cause an accident and need to defend yourself in court.  Purchasing coverage of your own personal fire performer insurance policy would protect you. The Full Moon Jam is insured via PEEP Insurance (

The Full Moon Jam is a %100 volunteer-run organization and it is only by our collective efforts that the jam continues to thrive. If you would like to lend a hand, but would rather not deal with fire, consider volunteering as a Full Moon Jam Guardian

Jam Guardians are volunteers that serve as a helping hand, a voice of reason and source of information to attendees of the Full Moon Jams. They are trained to aid in conflict resolution, establish safety perimeters if necessary and are prepared to respond in emergencies. Because of the involved nature of their training, they are entrusted to carry a radio and expected to provide updates to FMJ Organizers about any situations that may arise. Most importantly, Guardians help to provide a sense of community and create a more cohesive experience for everyone by being a readily available source of communication between attendees and organizers.
